Monastery of Kaloeidaina: The legend of Kaloeidaina, which explains the monastery's name and foundation, refers to a young woman from Fourfouras village that sees fire burning on the nearby mountain. When an icon was found at the site where the monastery now lies, the young woman exclaimed: "Kala eida ego", which means "I saw correctly".

Agios Georgios: The church is approximately at a 500 m distance from the village, towards the southeast, at Mourtzes or Mourtza site. It is a single-naved arched church and it was built in the first half of the 15th century on the site of an older church. Wall paintings dating back to the first half of the 15th century are saved.

Panagia Kardiotissa: According to the village residents (M. Marakis), the name of this location is known as "Panagia Kardiotissa" or "Monasteries of Panagia" or "Tomb of Kalogra" or "Panagia at Leivada" (the latter is the one most commonly used today). According to tradition, the young woman that found the icon of Panagia was buried at the Monastery of Panageia Leivada and gave the cause for building the Monastery of Kaloeidaina at Meronas. It is said that the woman became a nun and lived in Kardiotissa. The church was wall painted from ceiling to floor and had a mosaic floor. Nowadays, only few wall paintings are saved and the floor has been completely destroyed.
