Agios Georgios, single-naved (1748). The age of the bell is dated back at 1866. Chapels: Eisodia tis Theotokou (at the Health Center). Agios Dimitrios, old, single-naved. Chapels: Agios Iakinthos, Profitis Ilias, Agios Antonios, Agia Triada. Cemetary chaurch: Agia Paraskevi. Sisarcha settlement: Agia Paraskevi, byzantine church with 19th century icons. Agios Ioannis, tow-aisled. The south aisle is dedicated to the Annunciation with 14th century wall painting. The temple is very old. Agia Marina (1843), Agios Nikitas, Analipsi tou Christou, Agios PAndeleimon. Koimisis Theotokou, single-naved (1910), at the site of the older.

The Monastery of Agios Nektarios at Anogeia, 52 klm away from Rethymno, is a modern female monastery, inhabited by its supervisor.
