The formation that dominates this area is platy limestones with firestones of the Ionios Zoni (main mountainous mass of Psiloreitis). There are also: • Conglomerates, siltstones, marls and limestones • Clastic meta-deposits (meta-sandstones, meta-pilites, schist rocks, phyllites) • Dolomites grey-white to grey • Dolomites and limestoned grey to grey-black • Flysch.
