Summary of route
The first part of the E4 southern route is characterized by a relatively treeless landscape, which is the result of prevailing strong winds. From Fragkokastello, the route follows the asphalt road to Skaloti, goes on to Argoules and passes in the administrative borders of Rethymno towards Pano Rodakino and Kato Rodakino.
