Monuments

Mountros: The Venetian mansion at Mountros village has a wonderful lintel with an inscription of Virgil's Aeneid. According to one opinion, this lintel imitates the one found at the eastern central entrance of Fortetsa.

Argiroupoli: da Molin Tower: An imposing building of the Venetian era near the church of Agios Fanourios in the village of Argiroupoli. It belonged to the local Venetian seigneur, Francesco da Molin, and most of it has collapsed. The central entrance to the yard of the tower is impressive. An inscription citing OMNIA MUNDI FUMUS ET U[MBRA] (everything in the world is smoke and shadow) is embossed on its lintel.
